Smelly Science!

Introduction

Observing uses one or more of the five senses to gather information about our surroundings. We're used to observing with our eyes. In this activity, students try observing with one of their other senses: smell!

This is a recommended pre-visit activity for a field trip to Science World at the TELUS World of Science.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • Use their sense of smell to make observations.
